Yanks Blanked By A's

I watched 1/2 of last night's Yankees/A's game. I made it though the top half of the 5th. I woke up this morning and checked the score and found out I saw all there was to see. It was 3-0 when I went to bed and that's how it finished. It looks like A.J. pitched a decent ball game, except for the 1 inning where he gave up 3 runs on 4 hits. That was just an ugly inning all around.

On most nights the Yankees would win that game because the offense should always be good for at least 4 runs. They just couldn't get anything off the ground tonight. The big blow came when A-Rod grounded into a 1-2-3 DP to end the inning with the bases juiced. That could have been a game changer right there. Brett Tomko must have loved pitching as well as he did considering the Yanks pretty much effed him over all year long.

Not much else to say about that loss. A.J. had a solid outing and the bats were apparently left in Seattle. It happens.

Peace, love and Pinstripes,

J-Boogie
