If anyone is checking this site out of the first time, or is coming over from my MLBlog, bear with me as I continue to tinker with the look and layout of this site. I'm not 100% pleased with the color scheme and I want to keep it Yankee-themed, hence the colors. I'm sure this blog's look (if I keep it will change many times).
I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any.

I definitely like the blue background better than the gray, which I thought was a little institutional looking. And I like how the blue/white contrast in the blog body is sharper than the sidebar contrast. And I like the header and the double sidebar layout.
Is the Yankee "white" truly white, or can you get away with a cream? Cream text might take a little edge off the contrast and appear warmer, if that's a look you're going for.
P.S. - I am not a professional. Just one loon's opinion :-)
The fun thing is, unlike MLBlogs, you can actually play with the look to your hearts content.
