I just wanted to post a quick hello to anyone who is visiting for the 1st time. I have/had this Yankee blog for just over 2 years and it was originally hosted over at MLBlogs. They've recently upgraded their blogging software and I'm experiencing some "technical difficulties" that may or may not allow me to continue blogging at that site. On the off chance that I won't be able to successfully continue blogging over there, I'm setting up shop here as well, just in case. I've moved over some really old posts and most of my newer posts, and will most likely move over the rest if this is where the Boogie Down's new home ends up.
If you've stopped over from the old site, I'd like to know what you think of the new site's layout. If you're a 1st time visitor, welcome and feel free to check out the old site if you're interested in milling around some of my past ramblings. The writings have been a little on the light side as I took off most of the off-season to spend time with our newborn. I will return to regular posting now that the seasons started.
Hope you continue to check the place out. There'll be a lot more added in the coming days once i make a final decision to stay her or at the old place. Enjoy the opener.

Just a note to validate some of your frustrations and lend moral support for your "summer home" here at blogspot. I've basically done the same thing, taking a wait n see attitude with MLB - and while I'm not sure I'll stay at blogspot either - at least I feel better having an alternate home while MLB ransacks my old digs.
I like the header on the blog,looks crisp, although I'm not a big fan of the white text on gray background in the body of the blog. Maybe it's just me, as my eyes arent too good, but it's a little hard to read.
