Ian Kennedy is a late scratch and Brian Bruney will be starting in his place? Huh? This can't be good. The last thing the Yankees need is to lose a starting pitcher. We definitely don't need another revolving door of minor league starters taking the hill for the Yanks. The Bombers play Boston this weekend and I just had a flashback of Chase Wright getting taken deep not once, not twice, not thrice, but 4 straight times. Hopefully, Ike is alright. David Cone chirped in that he thought Kennedy looked a little ginger during warm-ups and maybe just couldn't get loose. Still, it's weird to pull a guy so close to game time. I'm hoping it's just a precautionary move they're taking because it's about 50 degrees in KC and rain is in the forecast.
