Forward Thinking

It appears that the Yankees have held Kennedy back from his start because the forecast calls for heavy rain. Now that's what I call a smart move. It makes a lot of sense. If the forecast calls for heavy rains why have Kennedy start and then have his outing washed out due to a delay or cancellation? If the game by chance gets called you have him available for hist start tomorrow if there's a double header. So it looks like we may have a little reverse today? Bruney gets the start and Kennedy comes on in relief once the weather improves? If you ask me that's a smart move. I don't follow the Dodgers much but I think Torre did the same thing with Chad Billingsley earlier this season. It looks like Girardi maybe stole that from Torre's playbook. Either way, smart move.

The rain is falling and it looks like it's coming down pretty hard. A rain delay is imminent. Smart move. Very impressive.

Vinny-is that you?

I'm not too high on Farnsworth either. Haven't been in a long time. He's just not reliable to get the job done. It doesn't help that everything eh throws is staright as an arrow.
